India's COVID-19, the mutant virus strain that caused the outbreak in India, has spread to at least 44 countries around the world.
The B.1.617 mutant virus was first detected in India in October last year, and was later found in more than 4,500 samples in a public database uploaded by "44 countries in the six regions of the World Health Organization."
A few days ago, the WHO announced that this mutant virus strain, which was first discovered in India, "caused suspicion," and was as particularly dangerous as the other three mutant viruses that were first detected in the United Kingdom, Brazil, and South Africa.
